The location of this land has been of importance, to man, for more than 5.500 years. Various Civilisations and cultures have left there mark and created our history. Sometimes these cultures came here because of the closeness of the sea and on other occasions as a strigical point between Levante and Andalucía.

These cultures (Romans, Moors etc.) have left behind traditions asimulted into our modern world. Many arquilogical finds are here for visitors to enjoy and see.
